Week -15: Intervals

Track was closed today, so I ran down to the river path. Accidentally paused the Forerunner for the first quarter mile of the first 800m interval, so the time is approximate for that one. Weather was beautiful - mid-thirties and sunny, no wind. Not worried that I was a few seconds over target - intervals are always the hardest workout for me.

Nice workout. Were you doing Yasso's? If so, you are right on target.

Wasn't familiar with Yassos, but found this article from Runner's World. That's an interesting concept. Although doing 10 consecutive 800m sprints sounds like more pain to me than a marathon. Maybe I'll substitute Yassos with more reps for some of the interval workouts.
