Target: 6 mile run: 1 miles easy, 5 miles @7:29/mile
Actual: 6 mile run: 1 mile @8:04, 5 miles @6:37/mile
Went with Chris down to the track today. Running with him always seems to improve my performance; definitely went a little faster for the warmup mile than I would have done otherwise. Happy with the tempo portion of the run. I'll bet that's the fastest 5 miles I've ever done. Mile splits were all negative - faster each mile - from 6:55 down to 6:13 for the last mile. No knee pain at all!

Thanks, Dad. Mileage is going down drastically the next two weeks before the marathon. Feel like I'm in the best cardio shape of my life, and as long as the knee doesn't get any worse and I can keep from getting overcome by nerves on race day things should go well.
