Had to force myself to get out and run today - not sure what opportunity I'll have over the weekend, so want to get those miles in now. High temps are back in the mid-90's this week, and it was 76 by the time I started out at about 6:30 from work. Took the speed easy, but it was still a struggle and the last mile was about all I could do. Fastest split was mile 6 at 8:05.

I read that this was the warmest year on record for Philly along with several other eastern cities.
Wouldn't surprise me. We've had worse heat waves, but it seems like the highs have been in the 90's more often than not all summer. And it just doesn't cool down much at night.
