Against my better judgment, decided finish my running schedule for the calendar week, and although I didn't quite do my scheduled 5 miles, my pace was much better than yesterday, especially considering the heat.
The sharp leg pains from this morning had subsided somewhat by noon (thanks, ibuprofen). I stretched and warmed up more than usual. I think I will have to learn to build more stretching and warming up into my routine. Stretched after running as well.
Now two days off from running. Last Saturday I swam two miles, so maybe this week I can do three over the weekend.
